Frequently Asked Questions and Rumor Control |
We've been around for over a year now, and have had a lot of questions asked. Also, we hear a lot of rumors out there that we want to make sure we get the truth out there in the open. Please bear in mind these are in no particular order. |

FAQ #1: Is Moan Manor going to disappear because Wil and Sherry had to move? Heck no! We're working hard to keep MoanManor going while they are gone. They plan to return to Savannah in a year or so and want the club to keep growing. Dave is still working on the webpage from Louisiana, and we all will return on occasion to visit something. We have some great volunteers who will be working just as hard to keep things going as well. FAQ #2: Why are there going to be fewer parties in 2010? Let's face it, the economy has most of us watching every penny. We want Savannah to have a great lifestyle club, but not everyone can afford every party. So, in order to keep costs down for everyone, we're going to have fewer parties advertised further out so more people can plan to attend each one. FAQ #3: Why don't we post the location of the parties on the webpage? We all want to have our own privacy, and wan't to keep our lifestyle between us and our friends. We keep it secret so we can manage who knows where we're at and that they are interested in the lifestyle before they come out and try to party with us. FAQ #4: What is going on with the hotel? The rooms have been bad as of late. As most know, the hotel went into forclosure a few months ago, and the managing company is working on repairs. Hopefully very soon we will have better quality in the bar and the hotel rooms. FAQ #5: The owners of Moan Manor are only about the money. For those that ask this, please realize that the food, the ballroom, the decorations, and everything else that goes into these parties costs money. There has yet to be an event where anyone has made any profit (to include our photographer). We have excellent volunteers who have contributed time and money to make Moan Manor what it is today. FAQ #6: Moan Manor is around so the owners can find the "new flavor of the month" There is a saying in the lifestyle. If you ever wish to stop playing, open a club. Running around, making sure everyone is happy, all the decorations, the games, monitoring the reservations makes many of us exhausted, without the remaining energy to do much else that night. FAQ #7: Refusing any action by the owners will get you kicked out of Moan Manor. Everyone has the right to say no, with no repurcussions. We're all here to have fun, make new friends, and enjoy being open-minded adults. The owners are held to an even higher standard of accountability than everyone else, and must behave accordingly. FAQ #8: Moan Manor is responsible for what happens in the hotel rooms. We're all adults. If a person desires to get a room, and have others visit, it is their business. The people that rent the rooms are responsible for who is in there and what happens in there. If a guest does not like what happens, it is their responsibility to leave, and if a person that rents a room doesn't like something that happens, it is their responsibility to police their own room. That being said, if the owners hear of something illegal happening, it becomes their responsibility to get involved. FAQ #9: My account was deleted from the members area, or I am not allowed into the member's area. The Member's Area is just that - For members of Moan Manor. People allowed access to the site must have attended a Moan Manor party. Administrators cannot delete an account, as the site does not allow that. Administrators can only ban members. If your account disappears, it is because you, as the account owner, deleted your own account. An administrator must approve all members for admittance to the site prior to anyone actually accessing it. |
